What is "The Journey"?

The Journey is a unique and effective healing technique that was pioneered by Brandon Bays, author of the best selling book “The Journey”. In 1992, Brandon was diagnosed with a tumour, which she healed from in only six and a half weeks without drugs or surgery. During Brandon's pioneering process, she accessed specific cell memories and discovered how to resolve and release the issues she had been holding on to subconsciously. From this experience she developed a unique and profound emotional & physical cellular healing process called ‘The Journey’.

Brandon Bays acknowledges the work of Dr Deepak Chopra  and Dr Candace Pert to substantiate the power of cellular healing.  Dr Deepak Chopra made a life study of successful survivors of illness. He found the survivors had two things in common:

    - That they were able to access something beyond the mind to stimulate healing.

    - That they were able to let go of memories that were stored at a cellular level.

Dr Chopra talked about how different parts of our bodies are able to regenerate cells at different speeds. It takes 48 hours for the cells in our eyes to regenerate and 6 weeks in our liver. The question he posed was: ‘What stopped these cells from regenerating healthily?’ He postulated that memories stored in the cells can cause degenerative disease patterns to be passed on.

Dr. Candace Pert in her book 'Molecules of Emotion', talked about how unresolved trauma and negative emotions can become physically stored as cellular memories. These memories can 'switch off' the healthy cells and lead to emotional and physical disease years after the events originally occurred.

Journeywork enables one to let go of these memories that have caused a “shutdown”, 'switch on' your cells, and once again allow the cells to regenerate healthily. Simply put, 'The Journey' technique is an opportunity to 'springclean' your body from whatever emotional toxins that it has been holding on to over the years.
